Athena VS Poseidon is the ultimate Hybrid Mythology Treasure Hunt in the Heart of Ancient and Modern Athens! This is a Hybrid event, so you will use Narratologies app to navigate, earn gems, read stories, fun facts, receive your riddles and clues to discover your next stop. Along your way you will meet our Treasure Hunt facilitators, who will assist you with the game play and guide you through hidden city gems.

The story

The Story

We will time travel back to the ancient times of Greece, when Gods and Titans ruled over the world. A big battle is about to start between two mighty Olympian Gods, Poseidon, God of the Sea and Athena, Goddess of Wisdom. Each God has to offer the city a unique gift to its the citizens. They will choose which God makes the best offer and they will name after him/her their city! Poseidon cracks the earth with his trident and shouts out: “I offer this city the most valuable gift of all, water from the bottoms of the ocean” and suddenly a jet of water sprang. And now is Athena’s turn. You have to help her find the best gift and win this battle! It’s not going to be easy, so hurry up and start searching or else the city will remain without a name.

The starting point of this Treasure Hunt is Hadrian's Arch, a monumental Roman landmark of utmost importance. Athena will be waiting for you there, to introduce you to your mission.
