Breaking the Minotaur’s Curse: Heraklion Archaeological Museum Mythology Treasure Hunt & Tour

Heraklion, Crete

The Minotaur was never meant to be a monster—he was born under a powerful curse that shaped his body but not his soul. Ancient whispers say the Phaistos Disc contains the key to his transformation, hidden in its undeciphered symbols. Discover the disc inside the museum by solving riddles to uncover the truth. If you succeed, he may finally reclaim his human form. But time is running out—if the truth remains buried, he will remain a beast forever.

Join us in this exciting museum treasure hunt. It’s a hybrid game, so you’ll use the Narratologies app to discover important exhibits such as the Phaistos Disc and many original Knossos frescoes, learn stories, and solve puzzles. During the experience, you will meet our coordinators who will help you discover lesser-known exhibits.

The Big Winners receive special offers from designers and creators.

Meet the Hero

Minotaur

Alright, here’s the deal: I’m the Minotaur—yes, the bull-formed lad you met at Knossos Palace. I used to live in the maze, but now I’m free. Only problem? I still look like a beast. Help me crack some ancient codes and break this curse, shall we?
